Removing the Veil
The Ananda Unveiled introduces technology first seen in the 2024 Susvara Unveiled: eliminating the grille structure that reflects and refracts sound back into the diaphragm. By removing these obstructions, the Unveiled design aims to deliver a purer, more transparent presentation than previous Anandas.
Open, Unfiltered Sound
Traditional mesh grilles can reflect or scatter sound waves, interacting with the ultra-thin diaphragm and creating subtle distortion. HIFIMAN’s Unveiled system removes that layer, producing a more direct, uncolored wavefront. The result: a sense of openness and clarity closer to what the driver itself is capable of.
Enhanced Magnet System
The Ananda Unveiled employs a precisely shaped magnet array that reduces distortion without losing control or dynamics. It’s designed for sensitivity comparable to rare-earth systems while minimizing reliance on those materials.
Second-Generation Supernano Diaphragm
The diaphragm is now ~60% thinner than the original, allowing faster transient response and greater detail retrieval. This change helps the Unveiled keep up with dense mixes and high-resolution recordings while maintaining HIFIMAN’s planar speed and texture.
Comfort and Practical Updates
A Gen. 2 composite headband trims weight (15.8 oz / ~448 g), while rotatable hinges improve seal and long-term wear. The dual 3.5 mm connectors angle outward for durability and ease of cable swaps. Magnetic protective veils fit over the cups when not in use, shielding the open drivers.
